Test yourself at the Boot Camp!

 Attractively arranged stands, expert talks and debates account for only a part of what the 2009 SURFEX Exhibition of Surface Treatment Technologies has to offer. Thanks to the Skills Boot Camp, which is held as part of the exhibition, the visitors will have an opportunity to see the latest surface preparation technologies in practice.

Co-organised by the editors of "Lakiernictwo Przemysłowe" magazine and MTP, this special space is unique for its comprehensive formula. Skills Boot Camp will comprise both workshops and practical demonstrations of equipment, as well as lectures delivered by industry specialists.

Innovative solutions from leading manufacturers will be showcased each day. Kremlin company will present liquid coating equipment and a spray wall. The product portfolio of Wagner company will include two-component devices. Fair guests will also have a chance to see AUER ST1000J blasting machine along with AUER's device for mechanical surface preparation. Ultron will help prepare materials for chemical coating using ultrasonic cleaners, while Lactec will display a robot for liquid coating application. Monkiewicz, Ewa Mendel and Eko-Bhl companies will showcase powder coating application and polymerisation systems (powder coating booth, application and oven), while GT 85 company will demonstrate a cleaner and chemical agents for surface preparation. During liquid coating presentations, products from Lankwitzer will be used. The company will also show UV coating and curing technology employing a special tunnel. Paint coating tests will be carried out by Anticorr.
Experts present on-site will provide additional information and professional advice, also answering questions from fair visitors.

On the third day of the exhibition, a series of lectures will be held at the Skills Boot Camp, serving as a content-rich supplement to presentations and workshops. The lectures will touch upon such issues as innovative ultrasound technologies, metal cleaning processes utilising fluidised bed technology, unified criteria for the classification of dangerous substances, and many others. Representatives of the Silesian University of Technology - P. Liberski PhD Eng, A. Tatarek PhD Eng, H. Kania PhD Eng, and P. Podolski PhD Eng - will describe the characteristics of hot dip zinc coatings as a substrate for paint coatings.

SURFEX Exhibition is an integral part of ITM Poland - New Europe's biggest trade show for state-of-the-art industry-related technologies, which will be held in Poznań on 16-19 June.

  • 19 June from 9 am to 4 pm.
