Tradition and modernity: ITM Poland started

President of Poland Mr. Bronislaw Komorowski opened ITM Poland fair, which presents technologically advanced machinery and equipment for industry worldwide. The fair gathers over 900 exhibitors from 32 countries.

The celebration of 90th anniversary of the Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie started with unveiling a plaque commemorating the Poznań June '56 event, with the participation of the President of Poland Mr. Bronislaw Komorowski, Mr. Andrzej Byrt  - Chairman of the Board of Directors of MTP and President of the Association "Poznań June 56"  Mrs.Aleksandra Banasiak. The President also participated in the inauguration of the Innovations-Technologies-Machines Poland Fair. In his speech he emphasized the courage of MTP - an institution of a 90-year-old tradition, to think innovatively and be the organizer of such the prestigious fairs as ITM Poland. The president also stressed that Greater Poland was an example of economic progress, and thus had a significant impact on the development of the whole Poland.

After the opening ceremony, the President, accompanied by MTP Board of Directors, visited the ITM Poland fair.
