The most beautiful and the most modern the unique Earth Hall!
By the end of August, the contest for the "Modernization of the Year 2013" was adjudicated. In the "Culture" category, the prize was awarded to the Earth Hall. The title was awarded at the Royal Castle in Warsaw to the investor - The MTP Congress Centre, to the artist - HOCHTIEF Polska - Poznań Branch, and to the company responsible for the project - Studio ADS.
The awards ceremony of the 18th edition of the "Modernization of the Year 2013" competition was held on August 28, 2014, at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
The ceremony was attended by the representatives of numerous ministries and administration authorities. President Bronisław Komorowski was represented by Olgierd Dziekoński, the Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. On behalf of the finalists and winners, the words of thanks were delivered by Andrzej Byrt, PhD, the President of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie, who also received the award.
The aim of the competition was to identify buildings that stand out in terms of aesthetics, modernity and top architectural solutions. The competition is organised by Targi Pomorskie that already for the 18th time were looking for buildings of specific values in Poland. The jury evaluated, among other things, impeccable aesthetics, workmanship, functionality and quality of materials.
We are pleased to announce that this year the main prize in the "Culture" category was awarded to the Earth Hall, a unique congress and conference centre in the centre of Poznań. The investor of the Earth Hall is the MTP Congress Centre, the contractor - HOCHTIEF Polska - Branch in Poznań, and the company responsible for the project is Studio ADS.
Titles and awards were given in 12 categories. 932 projects took part in the eighteenth edition of the "Modernization of the Year 2013" National Competition, and 62 facilities competed for the greatest laurels. The competition was also accompanied by on-line PlebiscytMR 2013 voting, in which 115 thousand people cast their votes on their favourite projects.
