Reindustrialization - a challenge for Polish engineers and entrepreneurs
The 14th Engineering Forum will be a follow up on the previous editions of the event, which has successfully been carried out by the Polish Federation of Engineering Association (NOT) since 2003.
Reindustrialization has been considered imperative for all member states of the European Union. Similarly, Poland should support the development of various branches of industry and effectively make use of its potential, as indicated in the Sustainable Development Strategy. As a sector which provides employment for most Polish engineers and technicians and a sector where most companies and businesses operate, industry creates the most innovative solutions. It also concentrates the most research and development centers and institutes. The majority of science and technology associations operate and excel their activities within the area of R&D. They are most closely focused on carrying out tasks related to reindustrialization.

MODERNLOG - THE FAIR FOR LOGISTICS, WAREHOUSING AND TRANSPORT, 6-9 June
MODERNLOG is a tribute to industrial logistics. Modern logistics in correlation with Industry 4.0 results in modern manufacturing companies and companies providing various services. MODERNLOG accompanied by ITM Poland, which is the largest exhibition for the industry sector in Central-Eastern Europe, offers a possibility to present a complete scope of products and possibilities for logistics, transport and warehousing. On top of that, both the events held in the same place at the same time are a one-of-a-kind opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience.
The first edition of MODERNLOG will concentrate on intralogistics, which will be the main point of the event known as “In4Log Industry”. Throughout the four days of the fair we will present visitors with two parallel manufacturing model paths. Both will involve identical areas of work, i.e. storing and picking items and their assembly; however, the work will differ in terms of the assembly line management and the devices capable of supporting all the areas, which are necessary to carry out the work. This way, we will show key differences between LEAN and NO LEAN areas which influence upon the following work parameters: efficiency, transfer speed, the time of carrying out internal supply, faultless completion of items and 5S-based cleanness which stands for having enough space and only such devices in a workpost which are necessary to carry out work in a given moment.
