MTP is joining the Earth Hour
On 31st March at 8.30 p.m. millions of people in the whole world are going to turn off the light for 60 minutes in a symbolic gesture. Also the most important places in Poland including MTP have joined the action
The Earth Hour is the biggest global and social initiative inspired by the ecological organisation WWF. Individuals, companies, governments and organisations from the whole world are invited to turn off the light on 31st March 2012 at 8.30 p.m., for one symbolic hour to demonstrate their engagement in the activities for the Earth.
During the WWF Earth Hour the illuminations of the most characteristic buildings are going to go out. Among them we can find: Pałac Kultury i Nauki, Teatr Wielki, Zamek Królewski, ramparts of Stare Miasto, illuminations of bridges and Zachęta in Warsaw, illumination of Stary Rynek, and Ratusz in Poznań and illuminations of MTP.
Also the external illuminations of the offices of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy as well as of the Ministry of Finance in Warsaw.
