ITM Poland and Focast 2014 ended successfully!

In Poznań the ITM Polska fair ended which can certainly be described as a very successful issue of this event! Many commercial meetings conducted, interest of potential clients, a possibility to overview competitors’ offer – these are the most important advantages of the ITM Polska fair finished today.

- We have exhibited our offer at the ITM Polska fair for 10 years. In spite of a large number of loyal customers who visit our stand, still somebody new shows up and it often appears that it is a very valuable client – said Tadeusz Szczepaniak, Director of Yamazaki Mazak Branch for Central Europe.

It has been stressed that the record issue of ITM Polska this year attracted not only hundreds of companies from 30 countries but also 16,728 visitors from Poland and abroad. Visitors from such countries as, among others: Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Spain, the Netherlands, India, Israel, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, the USA, Hungary and Italy registered at the fair.

- I have to say that it is not important whether we are at a fair in Germany, in the United States or here in Poznań – we do not see any difference. The ITM Polska is a global scale event – said Janusz Nagórka, President of the Pol-Sver Company.

Specific talks were held at the stands, some machines from the exhibition were sold during the fair. This has confirmed the fact that the ITM Polska fair has a business dimension.

- About 90% of visits held during the ITM Polska fair refer to projects which have a chance for implementation. I believe that these are specific requests to be reflected in real financial results – said Grzegorz Bosak, Director of Schunk Intec.

What else shall we remember of this year’s fair? Unquestionably, the colourful guests of India Show. It is in Poznań where it was possible to see the biggest in Poland exhibition of capacity of the engineering industry from India – the partner country of ITM Polska 2014 . Within the Mach-Tool Exhibition over 100 Indian companies representing the technological sector were presented. India Show created an excellent platform for discussions concerning the available capacities for joint projects and investments in various engineering sectors between Poland and the Indian companies.

The successful debut of the FOCAST Foundry Forum should be also noted. How did the exhibitors and visitors respond to the fair formula? It has turned out that the Forum was a hit!

- Advantages? Good location, modern and large space, and presence of many foundries – said Jan Hucek, President of the Board of ASK Chemicals Polska.

The first issue of the FOCAST Foundry Forum was attended by over 100 companies: foundries, manufacturers of machinery and equipment, suppliers of components and institutes. The participants had positive opinions on the event, underlining that it was very important for the sector.

- The MTP Management Board has created excellent conditions for presentation of the entire sector here; the large number of exhibitors and visitors confirms that the fair formula is still up-to-date – said Czesław Rudy, President of the Board of PPP Technical.

The exhibitors were stressing that the presence at the Focast Forum gave them the opportunity to establish business contacts not only among the fair visitors bout also among the exhibitors.  – We will certainly exhibit our offer in 2016 – confirmed Przemysław Czapla, for the Swan Shephard Polska company.

Forum Focast was accompanied by two-days’ match making meetings, Focast ITM Meetings, to which participants from Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, India and Switzerland registered. 43 meetings were held and the customers included such companies as: Solaris Bus & Coach, Sanden Manufacturing Poland, Emerson Industrial Automation Poland, or Seco/ Warwick Europe.
