Beginning of the Christmas Season
On 4th December at 18:30, a Christmas tree with a lot of lights and Christmas ornaments will be placed in front of the PIF main entrance. On this occasion, PIF will have a special St. Nicholas' Day present for Poznań inhabitants - a concert of Christmas songs in contemporary arrangements and contests with prizes.
The Christmas atmosphere will start on PIF fairgrounds already on 4th December. In addition to the illuminated Christmas tree in front of the Eastern Hall, there will be an illumination show and confetti showers. The programme will also include the concert of Christmas songs in contemporary arrangements and contests in which visitors can win tickets for events held as part of the family weekend at PIF - Art & Craft Festival and Cavaliada.
One of the contests will be the "Artistic Christmas Tree" project. Fleece hats and gloves will be a warm gift for those who bring handmade ornaments to the inauguration of the Christmas season at PIF on 4th December. The handmade Christmas ornaments, garlands and chains will be used to decorate the Christmas tree placed in front of the Eastern Hall for the Christmas season. Visitors' gifts can be exchanged by Santa who will arrive at PIF fairgrounds especially on the occasion of the opening of the winter season. PIF will have 200 gift sets to distribute. In addition, the creators of the most original and the most beautiful ornaments will receive double tickets to Art & Craft Festival and family shows at Cavaliada.
