A fresh glance at the industry - 2019 ITM Poland!

According to the Eurostat data published in 2017, Poland is a highly industrialized country. The share of this sector in the Polish economy accounts for as much as 26.3%, which gives Poland a high position in the world league and ranks it 7th among the EU countries. We are ahead of such giants as Germany, Austria, Sweden, Italy, Spain and France. The dynamic development of the industry triggers significant changes in enterprises as well as contributes to the transformation of the ITM Poland trade show. How will we surprise the participants?

Towards Industry 4.0 - is the motto of the upcoming edition of the Innovations-Technologies-Machines ITM Poland, which will be held in Poznań 4-7 June 2019. ITM Poland is the key exhibition in Central and Eastern Europe where the offerings of the Polish and global industries, whose products and services are in line with the idea of Industry 4.0, will be presented. It is a major venue for meetings and exchange of technological experiences for leaders in the innovation sector. World-class exhibitors, professionals in the field of production automation, metallurgy and metalworking, modern machines and technologies, an abundance of accompanying events and a unique atmosphere - all of these make the June trade show a mandatory entry in the calendar for companies seeking innovation and optimized solutions in line with the fourth industrial revolution.

The exhibition is divided into seven thematic showrooms: MACH-TOOL (machine tools and tools), METALFORUM (metallurgy, foundry and metal industry), HAPE (hydraulics, pneumatics and drives), SURFEX (surface treatment technology), WELDING, OHS - showroom of occupational safety in industry and Science for the economy. These showrooms will house all the latest developments and a wide range of solutions in key industry branches that are developing in Poland.

The 2018 edition of ITM Poland was record-breaking - 1,000 exhibitors from 28 countries showcased their products on 25,000 m2 of exhibition space located in 10 exhibition halls, which were visited by a total of 17,090 professionals from the industrial sector throughout the four days.

Whilst the industrial production sector is one of the factors driving the development of the Polish economy, the output level is constantly growing. The offers showcased at ITM Poland will enable companies to develop even faster and gain a unique competitive advantage based on the latest technologies.

As highlighted by ITM Poland Director Joanna Kucharska:

Industry 4.0 is a concept that resonates both in Poland and abroad. It is no longer just about manufacturing automation and robotization. Nowadays it is a change in business philosophy that requires new tools, including machines and software, new employee skill sets, as well as a transformation of customer approach. Demographic problems and disturbances observed on the labour market in Poland at the moment, may lead to increased investment in technologies that will replace people and thus increase productivity. To be successful internationally, Polish companies have to face up to the changes and move towards new business management practices, in terms of both manufacturing and the use of workforce resources.

Industry 4.0 is already becoming a reality where people, machines and processes are strongly integrated with one another and where production is more flexible and efficient. Therefore, Poznań-based INNOVATIONS-TECHNOLOGIES-MACHINES trade show ITM Poland is the best venue to observe good practices, the latest trends and directions of development of the industrial sector. Feel invited!
