More than a thousand participants from 44 countries of the world, exciting lectures, workshops, networking sessions and... gallons of coffee drank is the balance of the first hours of the prestigious Directions EMEA, which has begun today in the congress centre of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie.

Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourist Organisation, together with the Conferences and Congresses in Poland Association, awarded Poznan International Fair for organising the largest congress in Poland last year. The award ceremony accompanied the Polish Congress Ambassadors Gala Event held on 25th September in Kielce.

By the end of August, the contest for the "Modernization of the Year 2013" was adjudicated. In the "Culture" category, the prize was awarded to the Earth Hall. The title was awarded at the Royal Castle in Warsaw to the investor - The MTP Congress Centre, to the artist - HOCHTIEF Polska - Poznań Branch, and to the company responsible for the project - Studio ADS.
